How the data analysis challenge works

The challenge will run from 2nd March to 28th March, 2026

You will learn and practice Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI data visualisation, and data storytelling. You will get to take on daily challenges and weekly projects to add to your portfolio.

You’ll follow a structured 30-day challenge combining self-paced learning on our LMS with hands-on projects and expert-led hybrid masterclasses. Participants go through curated written and video content, submit practical assignments for Technical Mentor (TM) review, and attend intensive in-person/online Saturday masterclasses(2) focused on Excel and Power BI, culminating in a final capstone project.

At the end of the challenge, you will work on an end-to-end data storytelling project involving cleaning and preparing data on Microsoft Excel and building a dashboard with well-informed visualisations with Power BI. If you complete the challenge, you will be awarded a badge/certificate shareable on LinkedIn.

This challenge runs part-time over 30 days, with an expected commitment of approximately 40 hours. Most weeks, you’ll spend time on self-paced LMS content, completing and submitting practical projects for Technical Mentor review, alongside attending two scheduled Saturday masterclasses (9:30am–2:00pm) which are hybrid on 7th March & 21st March. The final week is dedicated to your individual capstone project, which you’ll submit at the last week of the challenge. Upon successful completion, you’ll graduate and receive your digital certificate.
