How the data analysis challenge works

The challenge will run from 24th February to 25th March, 2025

You will learn and practice Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI data visualisation, and data storytelling. You will get to take on daily challenges and weekly projects to add to your portfolio.

You will have online workshops every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:15pm with a career session on Thursdays at the same time. These workshops will be run by expert technical mentors and will focus on building more advanced project based on the skills learned from your curated content.

At the end of the challenge, you will work on an end-to-end data storytelling project involving cleaning and preparing data on Microsoft Excel and building a dashboard with well-informed visualisations with Power BI. If you complete the challenge, you will be awarded a badge/certificate shareable on LinkedIn.

This challenge runs part-time and you’ll have an expected commitment of 40 hours across the 30 days. This means you spend 8 hours weekly (6 hours in the 3 live evening sessions and 2 hours on your weekly project) across 5 weeks. Note that the fifth week will be focused on a team capstone rather than live classes. Challenge ends with a project presentation and you’ll be awarded certificates afterwards.
